Team days, offsites and staff wellness
A quiet room on 100 acres, an hour from Columbus.
Yurt Altaia is a private space on family-held land in Hocking Hills. Teams, nonprofits and clinical groups book it for the day: planning sessions, training, staff wellness days, and the kind of conversation that does not happen in a conference room.
The day
What a booking covers.
- ◆Exclusive use of the room for the day. Nobody else on the books, set for your group before you arrive.
- ◆A kitchen annex. Fridge, range and prep space. Bring a caterer or handle it yourselves.
- ◆The fire pit on the deck. Laid and lit.
- ◆One hundred acres and trails. Space to walk a problem out instead of sitting with it.
- ◆Quiet, and an hour from Columbus. Close enough to drive in and back the same day.
- ◆Lodging. If your group stays over, guests book cabins nearby and pay separately. We will point you at what is close.
- ◆Catering. The annex is a prep kitchen, not a licensed commercial kitchen. Your caterer carries their own licensing.
- ◆Facilitation. You bring your own agenda and whoever is running the day.
The room seats a group of up to twenty on mats. If your day needs chairs and tables rather than mat work, say so in your enquiry and we will tell you honestly whether the room fits before you go any further.
For whoever handles your paperwork
What procurement will ask for.
All of it is ready. You should not have to chase a venue for any of this.
One step
Tell us about the group.
The group, the range of dates you are looking at, and roughly how many people. That is enough for us to come back with a number within one business day.
